In 2025, Prometeon Tyre Group took a further step in its energy transition journey, with renewable and high-efficiency sources reaching 51.5% of total energy consumption. Green certified electricity and biomass account for 31.3%, while 20.2% comes from high-efficiency solutions such as cogeneration plants and gas turbine heat recovery systems. In the same year, the electricity used at the Milan headquarters and the Cinisello Balsamo R&D Center was entirely covered by renewable energy certificates and partially self-produced thanks to a new 116 kWp photovoltaic system, helping to reduce the environmental impact of the Group's operational activities.

Looking at SDGs n° 7 - 9 - 12 as aims, in 2019 Prometeon Tyre Group improved its specific energy index of about 7 % compared to 2018, obtaining ISO 50001 energy certification for the Izmit factory in Turkey

Prometeon integrates circularity principles into material development, adopting solutions that improve the traceability and sustainability of the raw materials used in its production processes. In this journey, the ISCC Plus certification represents a fundamental reference, making it possible to demonstrate the circular origin of materials according to the mass balance approach. Starting from 2024, the plant in Turkey began sourcing ISCC Plus-certified bio-circular silica and circular carbon black, contributing to the progressive increase of recycled materials used in production. Furthermore, from 2025, every Prometeon Coach C02 tire produced in the Turkish plant includes a 23% share of its weight allocated according to the ISCC Plus mass balance model, confirming the Group's commitment to solutions increasingly oriented toward the circular economy.
